Videoconferencing units compatible with Pexip subscriptions

Here are the Avaya devices supported for subscription to the Pexip Service. Unless otherwise indicated below, the recommended activation method is tying your device to its subscription. See Activating Avaya endpoints on the Pexip Service.

Here are the Cisco devices supported for subscription to the Pexip Service. Important changes to TLS support on the service came into effect from May 2022 — please see TLS 1.0 and 1.1 disablement on the Pexip Service for details.

Unless otherwise indicated below, the recommended activation method is the Activate Endpoint app. For more information about using the app, see Activating your device using the Activate Endpoint app.

¹ Although devices running much older software may successfully complete activation, using older versions is not recommended primarily for security reasons. Please note Cisco has deferred all TC software older than TC7.3.20, and all CE software older than CE9.15.3.17.

Custom certificates

Note that Cisco endpoints are provisioned with 3 custom CA certificates. These trusted Root CA certificates are used to validate the certificates presented by the Pexip Service.

If you want to install these certificates manually, they are available at the following locations (you may need to right-click and select Save link as...):

• DigiCert Global Root G2: https://cacerts.digicert.com/DigiCertGlobalRootG2.crt.pem
• DigiCert Global Root CA: https://cacerts.digicert.com/DigiCertGlobalRootCA.crt.pem
• ISRG Root X1: https://letsencrypt.org/certs/isrgrootx1.pem

The Lifesize devices supported for subscription to the Pexip Service are:

• Second generation Lifesize endpoints Icon 400, Icon 450, Icon 600, Icon 800 with minimum release 3.4.6.

Please note that Lifesize video endpoints are not compatible with activation using the Activate Endpoint app. See Activating Lifesize endpoints on the Pexip Service.
