Managing your account settings

As an Agent, your name, picture, and contact details are made available to customers when they make an appointment with you using the Engage plugin, and in the confirmation emails they receive. This information helps customers get to know you before you meet, and lets them know how to contact you if necessary.

This topic explains how you can view and update this information in your account settings within the Engage Backoffice. It covers:

To view your account settings, select your name from the top right corner and the select Account settings. From the panel on the left, select My Account:

Changing your picture

  1. From the top right corner, select your name and then select Account settings.
  2. From the panel on the left, select My Account.
  3. Click on the pencil icon under the image to the left of your name. (If you don't yet have an image uploaded, this will be a grey circle with your initials inside.)

  4. Select the file you wish to use for your picture, and select Open.

    We recommend .SVG files, or .PNG or .JPEG images that are 300 x 300 pixels in size.
  5. In the Crop Image overlay, click and drag to arrange the image inside the circle, and then select Save.

Changing your contact details

Your Office Manager can also update your contact details.

  1. From the top right corner, select your name and then select Account settings.
  2. From the panel on the left, select My Account.
  3. Update any of the following information, which will be included in communications with customers:

    First name

    Last name

    Enter your name in the format you want to be visible to your customers.
    Email The email address to which your Pexip Engage email confirmations will be sent.
    Phone number

    Your contact telephone number, if you wish to make this available to customers.

    Function

    Enter the position you have within your organisation (for example Consultant, Account Manager, Designer, etc.).

    Introduction

    If you wish to provide some information about yourself to customers when they are choosing an Agent from the Engage plugin, enter it here.

  4. Remember to Save your changes.

Changing your password

  1. From the top right corner, select your name and then select Account settings.
  2. From the panel on the left, select Application Settings.
  3. Under the Security section, select Change your password.
  4. Enter your New Password and then Confirm Password.
  5. Save your changes.

Changing your language and timezone

  1. From the top right corner, select your name and then select Account settings.
  2. From the panel on the left, select Application Settings.
  3. Update the following:

    Language

    Select the language to be used when you are viewing the Engage Backoffice, and for the emails you receive from Pexip Engage.

    This will change the language just for you; other Agents and your customers will view the Engage Backoffice and emails in their own selected language.

    Timezone

    Select the timezone in which you are based.

    This will change the timezone just for you.

  4. Save your changes.

Viewing your role and assigned offices

You can view (but not change) the following information by clicking on your name at the top right of the page and then selecting Account settings. These details are shown from the My Account tab:

Active When enabled, you have access to the Engage Backoffice.
Online planning When enabled, you are available to be booked for appointments.

Agent

Office Manager

Admin

These toggle buttons show which roles you have within the Engage Backoffice.

Assigned offices

This shows the offices where you are assigned, and the role you have in each office.
