Managing your app password

This guide helps you change or reset your app password.

These procedures do not apply if your organization uses SSO (Single Sign-On).

Changing your password via the app

You need to know your current password.

To change your password via the app:

  1. Go to the toolbar and select the Profile icon, and then select Password.

  2. Enter your current password, followed by a new password.
  3. Select Change password to save the changes.

The next time you log in, regardless of which app you use, you need to use your new password.

Resetting your password

If you are logged out of the app and have forgotten your password, please contact the company administrator within your organization, as they can initiate a password reset. After this has been done, you receive an email from Pexip with a link that lets you reset your password.

Resetting a forgotten password when still logged in to the app

From the app you can send a request to reset your password, which is useful if you are logged in but can't change your password because you don't have the current one.

Simply follow these steps:

  1. From the toolbar, select the Profile icon and then select Password.

  2. Select the Reset your password link at the bottom of the window.

  3. Enter your email id, and then select Send email.

  4. Go to the email account linked to your Pexip account, and open the email from Pexip inviting you to recover your account.
  5. Select Reset your password from the email body, and a new browser tab opens inviting you to create a new password.
  6. Enter a new password, and this logs you in to the web app.

You can now go to whichever app you prefer and log in with your new credentials.
