Kaltura custom streaming/recording (RTMP) setup

You can stream a Pexip conference to Kaltura and then share links to that conference with other people. See Live event streaming and recording for details about other streaming options.

To stream a conference to Kaltura:

1. Sign in to your Kaltura account.

2. Next to the tabs on the top, select the Upload drop-down menu and then select Live Stream Entry.

   

3. Add a Name and select Create Live Stream.

   

4. Copy the Primary URL and the Stream Name, as you will need these later.

   

5. Set up the live stream from your VMR as described in Using a custom RTMP stream/recording integration in the Pexip app.

   When either scheduling or creating an ad hoc stream you need to input the ingest/server URL provided by Kaltura.
