Quickchannel custom streaming/recording (RTMP) setup

You can stream a Pexip conference to Quickchannel and then share links to that conference with other people. See Live event streaming and recording for details about other streaming options.

To stream a conference to Quickchannel:

  1. Set up the live stream from your Pexip web app as described in Using a custom RTMP stream/recording integration in the Pexip app.

    During the setup of your live stream from your Pexip web app, you must enter the RTMP link (stream URL). The following steps explain how to locate this RTMP link in your Quickchannel account.

  2. Sign into your Quickchannel account.
  3. Select your account name and go to User settings.

  4. In User settings, locate the RTMP link in Stream key.

  5. Copy this link and enter it into the Server or stream URL field in your live stream setup in the Pexip web app.

    When you complete the live stream setup, a program automatically appears in Quickchannel > Program list with the time, date, and details of the stream.
